Erectile Dysfunction is more common in 50+ men. Some statistics shows 50% of men 50 years old and 60% of men 60 years old are experiencing this.

Most men of all ages desire sex or some sexual contact. Even men in there 70's and 80's, wants an erection and/or orgasm.

Erectile dysfunction (ED), or the inability to achieve or maintain an erection, can stem from a mix of physical and psychological factors, including: heart disease, diabetes, nerve damage, hormonal issues, stress, anxiety, certan medications, alcohol or drug use and underlying health conditions. Who knows, maybe you're just not into her or him.

Recreational activities that could cause ED:

    • Sedentary Lifestyle:
Lack of physical activity can contribute to cardiovascular problems, which are a major risk factor for ED.
    • Recreational Drug Use:
Certain drugs, like amphetamines, barbiturates, cocaine, heroin, and marijuana, can negatively impact sexual function.
    • Smoking:
Smoking damages blood vessels, which can impair blood flow to the penis, a key factor in achieving an erection.

      Can Erectile Dysfunction be reversed?

Yes, erectile dysfunction (ED) can often be reversed or significantly improved with various treatments, including lifestyle changes, medications, and in some cases, physical therapy or surgery.

Some studies suggest these lifestyle changes, as possibilities:

      • Healthy diet
      • Manage stress
      • Weight Loss
      • Quit smoking
      • Limit alcohol consumption
      • Regular exercise

Some studies suggest these medical treatments:

      • Injections or Suppositories:
These treatments involve injecting or inserting medication into the penis to help facilitate an erection.
      • Penile Implants:
In cases where other treatments are not effective, a penile implant may be considered.
      • Vacuum Erection Devices:
These devices create a vacuum around the penis to help draw blood into the erectile tissues.
      • Medications:
Oral medications like PDE5 inhibitors (Sildenafil, Tadalafil, Vardenafil) can help men achieve and maintain erections.
      • Hormone Therapy:
In some cases, hormonal imbalances, such as low testosterone, can contribute to ED, and hormone therapy may be an option.
